Warrensville Heights, OH – Visitors to Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp.'s (SWAFC) booth at the upcoming NACE International Autobody Congress & Exposition can expect to get "fired up" about the company’s latest innovation – the HP Process™ with Air-Dry Technology.
The HP Process stands for higher productivity, higher performance and higher profits. The proprietary Air-Dry technology removes the need for baking and achieves a fast cure time at ambient (70-75°F) room temperatures, allowing for same-day repairs. Its HPC15 Clearcoat can achieve a 15-minute cure that can then be sanded polished.
So -- if you're not using natural gas in the spray booth – where else could you possibly use it? To emphasize this ‘Fire Up for NACE’ campaign at this year's exposition, all visitors to the SWAFC booth (#N3791) will receive the opportunity to take home one of three Weber® Summit® grills (each approx. a $1,500 value).
"We decided to have some fun with our traffic-building activities at NACE this year and emphasize using natural gas for your backyard grill instead of your spray booth, thanks to the HP Process," said Brian Shenk, SWAFC Director of Marketing Services. "This is a great way to emphasize our new, lean production system that benefits the environment by reducing a shop's carbon footprint and also impacts the bottom line by lowering energy costs and helping paint more cars, faster."
In addition to seeing one of the actual, oversized grills 'up-close-and-personal' in the booth, visitors will also tour the space which has been designed to be an almost exact replica of one of SWAFC's 200 leading automotive sales and service branches. Only SWAFC's branches incorporate the philosophy of enhancing its customers’ purchasing experience as each facility offers more than 10,000 SKUs of different automotive paint and associated products.
These include sandpapers, body fillers, spray guns, tapes and safety equipment from a number of SWAFC’s leading associated product providers who will be on hand for consultation and demonstrations.
This also includes a greater selection of SWAFC-branded products such as ULTRA®, AWX®, Planet Color®, and Express Scratch Repair (which incorporates the HP Process), all on display during the show.
