Marbilizing

Step 1: Follow Best Demonstrated Practices for the type of substrate you are working on to provide a high quality undercoat system.

Step 2: For best appearance, PCMC3 Planet Color Marbilizer should be
applied over a black 2K surface.  Either a Basecoat/Clearcoat or a 2K Single Stage. After your 2K surface has cured, sand with P800 grit sandpaper, taking care not to sand thru. Application over the Basecoat will produce unique effects as well. Allow Basecoat to dry for 30 minutes before application of Marbilizer.

Step 3: PCMC3 Planet Color Marbilizer is packaged ready to spray,
no further reduction is necessary. You must add dry pigment in order to get your effect, at a ratio of 1 ounce pigment to 1 quart Marbilizer. Apply one coat to an area of about 16 inches ( no larger than
you can work).

Step 4: Immediately apply plastic wrap, bubble wrap, or sponge to create
your effect. Using low air pressure, gently blow plastic into the marbilizer. The marbilizer may also be sprayed directly on your plastic wrap and applied in a ragging type fashion.

Step 5: After a 30 minute flash, Electric Dye Concentrates or any Ultra Clearcoat may be applied.

-Electric Dye Concentrates must be clearcoated. Please allow 30 minute flash. Then wait 1-2 minutes before removing plastic wrap.
