Wire Brushed Metal

Step 1: Follow Best Demonstrated Practices for the type of substrate you are working on to provide a high quality undercoat system.

Step 2: Apply B777891 Light Silver Metallic FPC Basecoat until hiding is achieved. 
Dry time: 20 minutes.
Then apply 2 coats of PCMC4 Intercoat Knockdown Clear. 
Dry time: 2 hours.

Step 3: Completely de-gloss the surface with a Red scuff pad using back and forth strokes.

Step 4: Clean using solvent or waterborne surface cleaner.

Step 5: Thoroughly Apply 3M Dry Guide Coat.

Step 6: Remove excess guide coat with solvent or waterborne surface cleaner.

Do Not Touch Metal With Your Hands

Wipe/dry the surface using a back and forth motion until the desired amount of guide coat is removed.

Step 7: Apply 2 coats of any Ultra Clearcoat.
