Tip of the month for November

FALL TECH TIPS

This fall I would like to offer two Tech Tips. The first one is a simple but important one. With the hot weather coming to an end you will see vehicles with a lot of acid rain on them. This is more prevalent in the summer because the hot sun will bake those acid-containing droplets into the vehicles surface. What needs to done before polishing or refinishing, is to wash the affected areas with a 10% solution of baking soda and water. After washing thoroughly rinse with clean water and dry.  This will neutralize the acid and prevent them from coming back. My second tip is in managing change. Every fall we get our children ready for school because we know a good education will equip them for the future. Our industry is changing at a very rapid rate and the most effective way to keep up with these changes is training. Sherwin-Williams Automotive has Training Centers located near you with courses designed to equip your business to manage our ever-changing industry.
