To speed-up drying and reduce the time it takes to tape for two-toning with AWX waterborne paint, especially in cool/damp weather, consider one or more of the following suggestions:

1) Increase the paint booth temperature. This will give you two benefits; the warm air and lower humidity will combine to speed up production. If you have been spraying at 75f, try it at 85f.

2) Restrict the fluid flow by turning in the fluid adjustment screw. Start with 1 turn in from full trigger.

3) Select a smaller fluid nozzle for smaller repairs, especially in the mornings when the temperatures are colder and the humidity is at its highest.
Be sure the spray gun and nozzle sizes are an approved set-up when making this change.
