Measurements
FormulaExpressTM calculates the amount of each toner
necessary to make the specified color. These measurements depend on
how much paint is needed. Therefore, the system starts at 1 Quart and lets you
choose how much paint
you need. The results are shown in Actual or Cumulative format, which are explained below.
- Actual
- An Actual measurement shows the recipe for each formula, with the exact
amount of each component that goes into the mix.
- Cumulative
- An Cumulative measurement is useful when you are creating the paint
formula using a Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes paint mixing system. As you add each
component to the mix, you would check the total weight of the recipe,
eliminating the need to measure each component separately.
Of course, components have to be put into the recipe in the order listed.
