Preferences are used to customize the Color Formula Lookup system. Preferences
can be set for Paint Qualities, Mix Additives,
Mixing Ratios, and Scale Settings.
Please refer to the menu below for further information
on each Preference.
Automatically Make Formula Sprayable - When this option is set to 'Yes',
the system will automatically prompt a user to select a Mixing Ratio. If a user has
previously established a 'default' Mixing Raito for the given product, it will be assigned
and displayed without any additional prompting.

Discount from List Price - This is a percentage. It is the default percentage that
will be used when accessing the Costs By RO report under Management Reports link. If you choose to discount
from List price, the discount percentage will be defaulted to this value. It can be overwritten,
but will always default back to this value.

Default Mix Amount - When viewing details of a given formula, this unit of measure and quantity
will be used as the default. If the default size is not the desired measurement, it can be altered by clicking on the change link
found on the formula details page.

- This button will save your General Preference settings.

Paint Qualities are grouped by brand. When searching for a formula, only those
qualities that the user has selected will be displayed.
Select or Deselect Paint Qualities - Once you locate the desired paint quality,
simply use the mouse to click on the checkbox. A check in the box indicates that
the system will show results for that particular paint quality.
Remember to save your changes by clicking the [Save Preferences]
button before leaving the page.

* - A paint quality with an asterisk indicates that the
quality is in more than one brand. On selection, all associated paint qualities will be included.
Mix Additives are grouped by brand. When searching for a formula, only those
formulas that contain the selected mix additives will be displayed. In addition, only mix
ratios that contain the selected mix additives will be displayed.

Color - These Mix Ratios are used to make Color Intermix Formulas ready to spray.
They have been grouped by Brand and Product and can be filtered using the associated dropdown menus.
To see a list of brands or products, simply use the mouse and click on the small gray box with the down arrow.
This will display a list of items which can be selected by clicking on the item. The list will close and the page
will refresh with new detail.

Active mixing ratios are viewable by the user when making a formula ready to spray.
By default, all mixing ratios are marked as active. A check mark found under the
ACTIVE column denotes that the given mixing ratio is active.
When a user removes a check mark from under the ACTIVE column for a given mixing ratio, it is
no longer viewable by the user.
When the All link is clicked by the user, all mix ratios
listed on the page will be marked as active ie. with a check mark.
When the None link is clicked by the user, all mix ratios listed on the page
will be marked as inactive ie. without a check mark for both the ACTIVE and DEFAULT columns.

Only 1 mixing ratio for a given product may be assigned as the Default.
A check mark found under the DEFAULT column denotes the given mixing ratio as a default.
For example, a user selects a Clearcoat and would like to apply a mixing ratio. Since the user
previously defined a default mixing ratio for this product, the system will automatically assign the default
without prompting the user to make a selection.

Undercoat/Clearcoat - These Mix Ratios are used in making Cleaners, Clear Coats, and Primers ready to spray.
They have been grouped by Category and Product and can be filtered using the associated dropdown menus.
To see a list of Categories or products, simply use the mouse and click on the small gray box with the down arrow.

Scale Settings are used to customize the mixing scale for a given user.
Enable Scale - Enables the scale for a given user and adds functionality to the Color Formula Lookup system. It will enable a user
to add formulas to their mixing queue. In addition, they will have access to Management
Reports which offer detailed environmental information. They will also have
the option to review their Mix History, which includes detailed information about formulas they mixed on a scale.
COM Port - Is a communication port that enables the PC to communicate with peripheral devices.
This is set during installation of the mixing scale.
Overpour Tolerance - This is a percentage. It is used in determining whether
an ingredient has been over poured on the mixing scale.
Helps determine if a mix was overpoured by the user and reports the information. To disable this feature,
simply place a 0 in the box.
Remove Successful Mixes From My Queue - This indicates whether or not a formula will be
removed from the mixing queue after it has been successfully mixed on the scale. When this option is
set to 'Yes', the formula will automatically be removed from the users mixing queue. When this option is
set to 'No', the formula will remain in the users mixing queue.
Print Label's for Successful Mixes - This indicates whether or not a label will be printed
after a formula has been successfully mixed on the scale. When this option is set to 'Yes', a formula
label will automatically be printed. When this option is set to 'No', a formula label will not be
printed.
Default Label Style - The label style to which the system uses if the user selects to print
a formula label without first specifying the label style. The user can have only one default label style;
it should be the label style you use most often.
Enable Under-pour Recalculation - When a mix ingredient is under-poured on a mixing scale,
the user will be given the option to recalculate the entire mix before continuing.
When this option is set to 'Yes', the user will be given the option to recalculate the mix when under-poured.
When this option is set to 'No', the user will not be given the option to recalculate the mix when an ingredient is under-poured.
Default Label Copies - The number of labels to which the system will print if the user selects to print
a formula label without first specifying the number of copies.
