Overview
This course will teach participants about specialty OEM finishes and their proper repair procedures.
 
Lunches will be provided each day.  Hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm the first day with dismissal by 3:00 pm on the final day.  All class participants will receive Personal Safety Equipment.  They will also receive a  Product Training Manual for use in class and future reference.
 
Goal
The goal of this course is to help participants better understand today’s specialty finishes, while improving production targets and maintaining the highest quality repair.
 
Qualifications
This course is designed for refinish and preparation technicians. Participants must hold a current certification under our Lifetime Guarantee Program.

This training is approved for I-CAR Gold Class points through the I-CAR Industry Training Alliance Program and as such, qualifies each participant to apply for 13 I-CAR Gold Class credit hours.

  • Demonstrate proper procedure for repairing and applying low gloss finishes
  • Demonstrate proper application of 3-Stage finishes
  • Identify specialty colors and understand the repair procedures outlined by the OEM manufacturer
  • Identify production tips    
  • Identify Best Demonstrated Practices
